In the spring of 2008, I co-produced an $11,000 16-mm film production.  Shot in an abandoned house on the South Side of Chicago, the film posed many logistic, financial, and creative problems.  As a producer, my responsibilities included managing and acquiring funds, securing permits and insurance for equipment and shooting locations, and providing creative direction.  I also fulfilled the role of Makeup Designer, applying bloody wounds and vicious scars on actors.
