The Illinois Women’s Health Registry (IWHR), which functions as part of the Institute for Women’s Health Research at Northwestern University, lacked a formal logo design.  A stylized chromosome had been used in branding materials for both these organizations in the past.  IWHR wanted a fresh, feminine look for its logo, so I incorporated the chromosome trademark into the new design.
