Sternick Advisors
Problem
A burgeoning career consulting business, Sternick needed help reaching and connecting with their primary market, college students. The goal was to boost Sternick’s market share by establishing its unique focus and offerings through a redesigned website.
Process
Site Architecture
Sternick’s disorganized and poorly designed initial web presence demanded a complete restructuring in order to communicate clearly their services and strategies. First, I identified the most important content and constructed a comprehensive site map and wireframes.
Research
To gain insight into Sternick’s competitors I conducted market research by exploring existing websites, a process which helped me identify opportunities to set Sternick apart. Since most of its competitors’ sites appeared impersonal, out-dated, and poorly designed, I approached the project with a clean but warm look to catch the interest of a younger demographic more attuned to a contemporary design aesthetic.
User Experience
To achieve Sternick’s primary goal of attracting new business, I constructed the user experience to guide visitors to the next step in their journey, with the ultimate goal of encouraging them to contact Sternick.
Solution
The resulting site provides a breadth of information in a clear and concise manner, while appealing to Sternick’s target demographic.
